there are all kinds of drug warriors out there
who can tell you how big and bad
the drug problem is these days....

and just how much worse things are getting,
and how vitally important the War
on (some) Drugs is...

...which is just about what you'd expect anyone to say when they have billions of budgetary dollars at stake.
i can't help but think maybe things were better
when people could just go into the store
and buy them off the shelf...

...certainly more cost-effective.

even if one did need a prescription
to get a bottle of bourbon
sometimes...

leave it up to the marketplace.
i mean...
why not give the good ol' private sector
a kick at the can?
...just saying.
